Don Tapscott on teaching

In August 2012, Don Tapscott, author, speaker, and adviser on technology, media, and innovation, agreed to answer our questions about the new ways students learn and how profs need to respond.

If you click here  or on the image of Don below, you will be taken to the prezi. Be sure to watch the prezi in full screen and note that you can use your mouse to click on the “canvas” and scroll around or zoom out and in, as needed.

His answers have been incorporated into a web-based  presentation application, called Prezi, that uses Flash-style technology and a single canvas that is “zoomable”; that is, the interface allows users to change the viewing scale of information that is grouped in frames (as opposed to clicking through static slides). The technical term of this kind of interface is a Zoomable User Interface (ZUI).
